Automotive learners from Bendigo and its surrounds can look forward to a whole new training experience at our Bendigo Charleston Road campus.
On 12 October Bendigo TAFE will officially unveil upgraded automotive facilities featuring across-the-board improvements that reflect teaching and learning excellence from its partner TAFE Kangan Institute’s Automotive Centre of Excellence (ACE).
Students and industry will now have access to:
- A new suite of industry-standard equipment and technology, including running engines across Toyota, Isuzu, Holden and Ford vehicle models.
- Networking and employment opportunities with leading industry partners, including Renault Australia, Toyota Australia, Nissan Australia, Kmart Tyre and Auto Service, William Adams, Sheen Panel Service, CMV Truck and Bus, and more.
- Upgraded e-learning resources for a seamless blended learning experience.
- A modern facility reflecting the transparent and clean direction of the modern automotive industry.
Bendigo TAFE’s CEO Trevor Schwenke said the enhanced facility is poised to provide individuals and industry with a world-class training experience.
“The merger of Bendigo TAFE and Kangan Institute has created a stronger combined Institute, one with an extensive metro and regional network and far greater resources. This has meant more courses and more options for businesses and individuals,” said Mr. Schwenke.
“Automotive learners here in Bendigo can now reap these benefits. Through its strong industry connections and value within the Victorian economy, Kangan Institute’s ACE has a world-class reputation as a leader for all automotive training related needs.
“Kangan Institute’s resources and expertise will now be readily available for local learners – that means a more enriching training experience, better outcomes and enhanced career prospects.”
