Kangan Institute is inviting local jobseekers to attend its free employment workshops at its Broadmeadows campus this June.

The workshops, which focus on identifying skill gaps, brushing up interview and resume writing techniques, and job search skills, aim to help participants improve their chances of finding their next job.

Nola Grant, Kangan Institute’s manager of employment services, said the workshops align with the Institute’s long term commitment to supporting the skilling and employment needs of our local communities.

“Kangan Institute has been providing employment service solutions to the Broadmeadows area and northern region for many years.

“This has taken shape from skills recognition and gap training through to career advice and employment assistance through our onsite employment centre,” said Ms. Grant.

“Through these workshops we hope to reach out to people seeking new employment and career opportunities, many of whom are facing significant challenges.”
