TECHNOLOGY CERTIFICATE IV IN COMPUTER SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY Course code ICT41015 Direct entry / February and July Further your IT skills and career with this course that will provide you with the knowledge to install and administer networks and servers, programming and web development either as an independent information and communications technology (ICT) specialist or as part of a team within an organisation. This course is offered as a dual qualification and students will need to complete three further units from the Certificate IV in Information Technology Networking (ICT40418) to achieve both the Certificate IV in Computer Systems Technology (ICT41015) and the Certificate IV in Information Technology Networking (ICT40418). DURATION Full-time: 1 year PREREQUISITES You need to have satisfactory language, literacy and numeracy skills to undertake this course or are mature age and have sufficient work experience. SELECTION PROCESS You are required to attend an interview and complete a language, literacy and numeracy assessment. CAREER OPPORTUNITIES This qualification allows graduates to work as a Computer Technician, Computer Support – Technical Officer or Help Desk Officer.
