EARLYCHILDHOOD CERTIFICATE III IN EDUCATION SUPPORT Course Code CHC30213 Direct Entry / February and July Intake Start working as an education support worker in primary and secondary schools, specialist schools and community education environments. As part of this course, you will be required to complete a work placement component of 100 hours in a school setting during your studies. DURATION Full-time: 6 months day or evening PREREQUISITES • Be 18 years of age by course completion (This is the minimum age for work in this field). • You will need to have a current Working with Children Check (WWCC). SELECTION PROCESS You will be assessed to ensure that you have the satisfactory language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) and the communication skills to undertake the course. You will also be required to attend an information session.
