EARLYCHILDHOOD DIPLOMA OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION AND CARE Course Code CHC50113 Direct entry / February and July intakes This qualification will provide students with the knowledge and skills to design and implement curriculum in early childhood education and care services, using an approved learning framework. DURATION Full-time/Flexible: 18 months PREREQUISITES You will be required to obtain a Police check and undergo a Working with Children Check (WWCC). SELECTION PROCESS Pre-training interview and Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) evaluation. Topics include supporting children’s wellbeing, learning and development, as well as legal and ethical requirements. All students will engage in practical placement. DURATION Full-time/Flexible: 6 months (includes work placement of 140 hours.) PREREQUISITES You will be required to obtain a Police check and undergo a Working with Children Check (WWCC). SELECTION PROCESS Pre-Training interview and Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment.
