COMMUNITY SERVICES CERTIFICATE III IN INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT (DISABILITY) Course code CHC33015 Direct entry / February and July intakes If you have a passion for caring for people with disabilities, want to work in one of the fastest growing industries in Australia, or simply want to know how to care for people when they need assistance, our Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) course will help you achieve your goals. We understand your passion in helping others. That’s why we’ve created a course that supports and fosters your enthusiasm. Students will need a 4 day commitment in the second half of the program to allow for the 120 hours of mandatory placement. DURATION Full-time: 6 months (2 days per week). PREREQUISITES A police check and Commonwealth of Australia Statutory Declaration must be obtained prior to undertaking work placement. NOTE: Venues reserve the right to refuse you for placement based on the results of the above mentioned declarations. SELECTION PROCESS Aged at least 18 years, Pre-Training interview and Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN)assessment.
