HEALTH CERTIFICATE III IN HEALTH SERVICES ASSISTANCE Course code HLT33115 Traineeship / Direct Entry – February, April and July intakes This qualification commences your career in providing assistance to health care professionals with services to clients and patients in a health care setting. Whilst there is no direct delivery of patient care, you will have direct patient contact in the role. Learn about client patient support services including food services, general cleaning, work health and safety and patient movement. Placement is a mandatory part of the course (120 hours) and this is organised by Bendigo TAFE. DURATION Full-time: 6 months PREREQUISITES • Satisfactory language, literacy and numeracy skills to undertake this course • 18 years or over at the time of placement • Current Police Check and Working with Children Check (WWCC) • Evidence of current immunisation status within one month of starting this course SELECTION PROCESS You will be assessed to ensure that you have the satisfactory language, literacy and numeracy (LLN), and the communication skills to undertake the course.
