INFORMATION TASTER PROGRAMS Our taster programs are a terrific alternative for students who want to explore their career options or do not want to commit to a full VET Delivered to Secondary School Students certificate (formerly VET in Schools). Our schools engagement team provide schools with a single point of contact when dealing with us, to help you get the best value from our services. Our resources and support for schools ensure that you and your students are well equipped with information about career paths and further study options. The schools engagement team can assist your school to create career pathways for your students through: CAREER ADVISORS SEMINAR Our annual career advisors seminar offers a professional development opportunity for career advisors to learn more about courses offered at Bendigo TAFE. This event has a strong education and employment pathway focus with our Industry partners, current students and teaching staff actively participating to reinforce the value of undertaking a VET qualification at Bendigo TAFE. SCHOOLS NEWSLETTER Our regular newsletter for career advisors and practitioners will help you stay abreast of upcoming events, new and updated courses and other relevant information about our organisation. SCHOOL VISITS We can visit your school and talk to your students about our training programs via a presentation or at a careers expo. We are able to tailor presentations to focus on specific course areas if your students have a key area of interest. EXPERIENCE DAYS Our experience days provide secondary school students with the opportunity to visit our facilities and gain an insight into vocational education through a series of interactive workshops. COURSE GUIDES We’ve designed our course guides as a helpful reference tool for you and your students. They provide an overview of the wide range of courses we offer, study pathways and possible career outcomes. The guides may be downloaded in PDF format from our website or you can order printed versions online. CAMPUS TOURS Our campus tours provide school groups with the opportunity to get a glimpse of campus life. These events give students an overview of what vocational and higher education is all about, and the chance to see our state-of-the-art facilities.
