SHORT COURSES CONSTRUCTION INDUCTION (WHITE CARD) Course code: B43CI01 BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION All people performing construction work in Victoria require proof that they have completed an OHS Construction Induction Course. This Bendigo TAFE course allows successful students to receive a WorkSafe Construction Induction Card, the cost of which is included in the price of the course. ACCREDITATION This course contains nationally or state accredited units. DESCRIPTION The course covers personal awareness of OHS legislative requirements and the basic principles of risk management and prevention of injury and illness in the construction industry. It enables holders to comply with the Australian Standard applying to the carrying out of mandatory routine testing and tagging of portable electrical items and leads. ACCREDITATION This course is internally accredited by Bendigo TAFE. DESCRIPTION Ideal for people in the following situations: Owner/operators of motels, hotels, caravan parks, office administrators, maintenance personnel at hospitals, aged care facilities, schools, clubs, office-based, light industrial electrical items. People wishing to test in-house portable electrical equipment and people wishing to set up an electrical appliance testing business. The program satisfies the Australian Standard for testing and tagging of electrical equipment and leads (AS/NZS 3760) requiring regular equipment testing and tagging.
