CERTIFICATE II IN BUILDING AND CONSTRUCTION PRE-APPRENTICESHIP Course code: 22338VIC Direct entry / February and July intake This course is ideal for school leavers or those who wish to gain an apprenticeship or otherwise obtain valuable skills in the construction industry. You will gain the skills necessary to start a carpentry apprenticeship, including learning methods of construction, scaffolding, hand and power tools and workplace communication. DURATION Full-time: 16 weeks PREREQUISITES You need to have satisfactory literacy and numeracy skills and be at least 15 years old when you apply. You may also apply if you have satisfactorily completed VCE or an approved equivalent course. You must also be comfortable working at heights.
