Our schools team can assist your school to create careers pathways for your students through: CAREERS ADVISORS SEMINARS Our seminars for careers advisors (and other school staff) provide opportunities to network with our teaching areas and find out how our range of study options, support services and facilities can help you and your students. CAREERS ADVISORS NEWSLETTER Our regular newsletter for careers advisors and practitioners will help you stay abreast of upcoming events, new and updated courses and other relevant information about our organisation. SCHOOL VISITS We can visit your school and talk to your students about our training programs via a presentation or at a careers expo. We are able to tailor presentations to focus on specific course areas if your students have a key area of interest. EXPERIENCE DAYS (TRY A TRADE) Our experience days provide secondary school students with the opportunity to visit our facilities and gain an insight into vocational education through a series of interactive workshops. COURSE GUIDES We’ve designed our course guides as a helpful reference tool for you and your students. They provide an overview of the wide range of courses we offer, study pathways and possible career outcomes. The guides may be downloaded in PDF format from our website or you can order printed versions online. SCHOOLS INFORMATION CAMPUS TOURS Our campus tours provide school groups with the opportunity to get a glimpse of campus life. These events give students an overview of what vocational and higher education is all about, and the chance to see our state-of-the-art facilities. TASTER PROGRAMS Our taster programs are a terrific option for students who want to explore their career options or try out potential VET in Schools programs. They are also valuable for VCAL students who do not wish to commit to a full VET in Schools Certificate program but would like to try different study areas to help them form career direction.
