WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT? STUDENT ORIENTATION We understand that it can be daunting being a new student, so we have developed a student orientation program to support you through your transition to TAFE. Take the opportunity to discover what services and support we offer each and every Bendigo TAFE student, meet new people and make new friends. STUDENT EXPERIENCE There’s a reason more than 9,000 students choose Bendigo TAFE each year. We pride ourselves on providing students with a safe and supportive environment with passionate teaching and support staff committed to your success. We provide a range of free and confidential student support services including counselling, welfare and disability support. To give you a perfect start for your time with us, we offer a Student Orientation program and a number of theme based on-campus events as well as activities, such as cultural diversity and mental health during the year to give you an opportunity to meet other students. We also offer a Student Volunteering Program to get you involved and supporting the community. STUDENT GRADUATION The Graduation and Awards ceremony is a yearly event that celebrates the achievements of students who have completed their studies with Bendigo TAFE. The ceremony also recognises our most outstanding students from the previous year. Our most outstanding students from our apprentice areas will be invited to attend our Apprentice and Industry awards night along with their employers. It is a hosted industry networking event.
